
Emma Benton RVN
Head Nurse
Emma has been with the practice since 2003. She has a degree in veterinary nursing with the Royal Veterinary College and has a great love of pets. Emma plays an important role in the anaesthetising and recovery of the pets undergoing surgery, and can also help with any queries you may have, especially if they’re diet related. She has a cat Lenny, who she nursed to health after he had been abandoned with us due a road traffic accident. She also owns a lovely cat called Hettie and a gorgeous Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Chilli.

Marie Barrington RVN
Marie has joined us after working for some years at a local horse clinic. She is a qualified RVN and has currently passed her NCert (anaesthesia) with the European School of Vet Post Graduate nurse studies. At home she has a lovely little cat called Ember who is adorable. Marie is now back from maternity leave after the birth of her twin boys.

Kristina McGaw RVN
Kiristina has been with Phoenix since 2004. She lives locally with occasional sejourns to her home island of Mauritius, lucky lady. She is responsible for Lulu the Labradoodle and has a real love for taking care of the recovery pets and the general running of the surgical part of the nursing team.

Penny Jones
Student Veterinary Nurse
Penny has recently joined us after studying and obtaining a degree in zoology. She has several cats to keep her busy, loves cooking and growing her own produce and is a keen fitness person.

Hilly Smith
Student Veterinary Nurse
Hilly has recently joined us from Arundel Equine Hospital. She has a pony called Heidi, a horse called Maddi and a dog called Tiggy who all keep her quite busy.

Micaela Walters
Student Veterinary Nurse
Micaela joined us in September 2017 and is keen to start her nursing studies. She has a lovely fluffy cat and recently a Dachshund puppy called Basil who is cheeky.
